Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Rasuna handles information when you edit media, use connected features, and interact with the app.
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Rasuna iOS app and the Rasuna-hosted legal and support pages. The provider of Rasuna is the developer identified on the app's Apple App Store product page.
Web content or external services opened from the app may have separate privacy practices. Their policies apply to information they receive directly.
2. Information handled by Rasuna
Media and local workspace data
- Videos selected from the photo library or captured with the camera.
- Voice recordings, extracted audio, rendered exports, and generated thumbnails.
- Draft names, media format, duration, resolution, track summaries, and creation dates.
- A locally selected profile image, nickname, and locally created export presets.
The native editor processes and stores these items in the app's local container. Rasuna does not upload native editing media as part of the editing, draft, preset, or local profile features shown in the current app implementation.
Device, app, and session information
- A randomly generated installation identifier stored in the iOS Keychain.
- App version, iOS version, device model, language, country or region, and time zone.
- Worker session identifiers, service user identifiers, configuration data, and authentication state used to establish connected sessions and display web content.
- Network request metadata needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and route the service.
Startup configuration and HTML welcome page
When Rasuna starts, it contacts our server to retrieve data required for the app to operate, such as service configuration, session status, feature routing, and the content location used for the current app experience. This startup request may include the installation identifier, app version, iOS version, device model, preferred language, country or region, time zone, and an existing session identifier. This information is used to return the configuration and content appropriate for the app installation and is not used to upload media from the native editor.
Rasuna may present its welcome page and related introductory content as HTML inside an in-app web view. The HTML content is loaded from our server so that required welcome information and compatible presentation data can be delivered when the app starts. The web view may receive the app name, app version, service endpoints, legal-page links, and session or configuration values needed to display and operate that experience. Standard network information, such as the IP address and request metadata, may also be processed when this content is requested.
Analytics and attribution
Rasuna uses Adjust for app analytics and attribution. Depending on device settings and permission choices, this may include registration and login events, Adjust identifiers, advertising identifiers, attribution source, campaign, ad group, ad set or creative information, app version, package identifier, and installation identifier. If iOS tracking permission is denied, access to the advertising identifier is restricted by iOS.
3. Device permissions
- Camera
- Used only when you choose to capture video in Rasuna.
- Microphone
- Used when recording voiceovers or audio associated with captured video.
- Photo Library
- Used to select source media and, with add access, save finished exports.
- Tracking
- Requested through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt for attribution and measurement. You can decline.
You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling a permission affects only features that require it.
4. How information is used
- Provide media importing, capture, editing, audio extraction, voiceover, export, saving, and sharing.
- Maintain local drafts, history, profile choices, and presets.
- Create and restore sessions, retrieve startup data and service configuration, and deliver the HTML-based welcome page and other web-based experiences.
- Protect the service, prevent misuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain compatibility.
- Measure registration, login, acquisition, and attribution performance.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce the Terms of Use.
6. Storage and retention
- Drafts, exports, thumbnails, profile images, nickname, presets, and permission-request flags remain locally until you delete them, purge local account data, or remove the app, subject to iOS behavior and backups.
- The installation identifier and Worker session are stored in Keychain. Keychain values may remain after reinstalling the app, depending on iOS behavior.
- Worker session records are configured to expire after approximately 30 days and are renewed when the session is used.
- Analytics, attribution, upstream account, and operational records may be retained by the relevant service provider according to operational needs and applicable law.
7. Your choices and controls
- Decline or revoke camera, microphone, photo library, or tracking permissions in iOS Settings.
- Delete individual local drafts or history items in the app.
- Use the purge control to remove local native-workspace history, drafts, profile data, and presets, then sign out.
- Use logout to remove the local Worker session and return to the sign-in screen.
- Email yinzeee779@126.com for privacy or account requests that cannot be completed in the app.
The local purge control does not automatically establish that every record held by an upstream provider has been deleted. Contact support for requests involving connected account records.
8. Security
Rasuna uses platform storage controls, Keychain storage for identifiers and sessions, HTTPS connections, and encrypted request formats for supported connected services. No system is completely secure, so you should protect your device, keep iOS current, and avoid sharing session details.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version is identified by the date above.
